Empty Nest: Strategies to Help Your Kids Take Flight
Behind the Story
This book is important for all parents to read! Written by a dear friend, Marci Seither, she says about her book: “All of a sudden, the nest is empty. The birds have gone, and what had been a constant blur of activity is now nothing more than a few discarded feathers. Silence mutes all that was colorful and it is time to reestablish our significant place in an ever-changing world…like it or not, this transition is inevitable–a natural changing of seasons.”
Marci offers a spiritual perspective with practical tips needed to thrive in the midst of change. She interviewed me for this book, and tells our story in it. Although this is not my own published work, her wisdom and insight will find its way onto pages of a book I’m currently working on: The 3rd Third – about life after children are raised and retirement is reality.
Empty Nest is a book written by a dear friend and fellow author, Marci Seither. I contributed a story about my two sons flying the nest, and how we coped as parents during this significant life change.
