About the Author

With a 40-year history in television media and video production, Suzanne now enjoys “just” being an author.

Suzanne is a lifelong author, having an early start as a syndicated newspaper advice columnist at age fifteen. She contributes to anthologies, freelances, and has been a television script writer, producer, director, editor, videographer, and executive producer for decades.

As founder and President of her production company, Peppers. She credits the talent of her media production team for earning dozens of Telly Awards for creative productions. Suzanne won an Emmy for editing a PBS documentary on stroke prevention, produced by Sue Pearson Lanterman. “We produced only ‘good news’ stories”, Suzanne recalls. “Each story was a pleasure to research and report. It appeared both viewers and contest judges loved them!”

Married in 1975 to Cliff Peppers, they have two happily married sons and four charming grandchildren. Suzanne says, “The best part about being married 50 years is that for the first time ever, we go on dates every day. This is the only time in our marriage we don’t have to share each other with anyone else – unless we choose to.”

Cliff and Suzanne serve as short-term missionaries with Joni and Friends/Wheels for the World in the Middle East and the Caribbean. Locally, they collect donated wheelchairs and serve at Family Camps and Marriage Getaways for those impacted by disabilities. They enjoy working in their church’s Senior and Children’s ministries, offering pre-marital biblical counseling, leading Bible studies, and serving as Cliff continues to preach.

The Peppers love to travel by car, plane, sailboat, or camper van. They kayak in calm waters, fly fish (rarely catch), golf (poorly), walk beaches (slowly), and visit graveyards (strangely). They enjoy live theater and make a lame attempt at ballroom dancing. Of course, family time is the best.

Suzanne is accomplishing a 15-year-long dream – to write her book, The 3rd Third, Embracing the Rest of Your Life Journey. “I believe I’m finally old enough to write this with some authority.”
